With the goal of expanding its presence in the country, global smartphone brand Xiaomi launched a new smartphone, the Mi 11 Lite, for Indian consumers on Tuesday.
The Mi 11 Lite, the latest model in Xiaomi’s Mi series, was released in India on Tuesday. The new smartphone, which was released globally in late March, is a less expensive variant of the Mi 11, which was released as a flagship Mi-series phone in December.

The Mi 11 Lite runs MIUI 12 on Android 11 and has a 6.55-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixel) AMOLED 10-bit display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and refresh rate options of 60Hz and 90Hz. The display also has a touch sampling rate of 240Hz and a Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection layer on top. The Mi 11 Lite is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G SoC, an Adreno 618 GPU, and up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
The Mi 11 Lite has three rear cameras, one of which is a 64-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens. An 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide lens and a field-of-view (FoV) of 119 degrees is also included in the rear camera setup, as is a 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens. There is also an LED flash to help with low-light photography. Furthermore, the camera setup can record up to 4K video at 30 frames per second.
The Mi 11 Lite has a 16-megapixel selfie camera sensor with an f/2.45 lens on the front for selfies and video chats. AI Beautify, Night mode, and Time burst are among the features available on the selfie camera.
The Mi 11 Lite comes standard with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is expandable via microSD card (up to 512GB). 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Infrared (IR), Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port are among the connectivity options.
Xiaomi has included a 4,250mAh battery with the Mi 11 Lite, and the battery also supports 33W fast charging, with the compatible charger included in the box.
Availability & Pricing:
The smartphone will be available in three colours – Tuscany Coral, Jazz Blue, and Vinyl Black – and will be available in both online and physical stores on June 28.
The Mi 11 Lite costs Rs 21,999 for the 6GB+128GB variant and Rs 23,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant. However, as an early bird offer, it will be available from June 25 for Rs 18,999 and Rs 20,999, respectively.
