OnePlus has revealed that the third smartphone in the Nord series would be released within a month following the release of the new OnePlus Nord CE 5G. The smartphone, dubbed the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, will be available in India and Europe on July 22, 2021, according to CEO Pete Lau.
Here’s what to look forward to with the new Nord 2 5G smartphone.
Display & Camera:
The Nord 2 5G is likely to use the same display as the Nord CE 5G, which is a 6.43-inch AMOLED punch hole display with a refresh rate of 90Hz, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a Full HD+ resolution. The smartphone is believed to have a triple camera configuration on the rear, including a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor and 8MP and 2MP secondary cameras. Along with the 50MP triple camera configuration, a 32MP selfie camera is possible.
Software & Storage:
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset will power the OnePlus Nord 2 5G. It will be the first OnePlus smartphone without a Qualcomm processor. The new device is expected to come in at least three RAM and storage configurations, including 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB RAM with storage capacities ranging from 128GB to 256GB.
The smartphone could be powered by a 4,500mAh battery with OnePlus WarpCharge 30T Plus fast charging with a 30W output.
Pricing & Availability:
According to estimates, the new OnePlus Nord 2 5G could start at Rs 29,999. There could be three RAM + storage configurations of the OnePlus Nord 2 5G, with prices ranging from Rs 36,000 to Rs 36,000. The Nord 2 5G, will be available in India and Europe on July 22, 2021, according to CEO Pete Lau.
