Realme teased its first laptop and it’s known as Realme Book.
Realme has been steadily expanding it’s product portfolio beyond smartphones to include accessories, AIoT devices, and other items. Now, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is preparing to take the next step into the laptop and tablet markets.
Francis Wong, Realme’s CMO, recently teased the arrival of an upcoming Realme tablet. Wong asked users to vote on the tablet’s name by selecting one of two options – Realme Tab or Realme Pad.
In addition, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme India and Europe, teased a Realme laptop in another tweet. The image depicts a laptop peeking out of a bag with the binary text of the tweet that reads “Hello World.” Sheth also claims that this would be a new “product category,” and the hashtag #TechLife suggests that the laptop could be part of the company’s Dizo sub-brand.
While no other information about the product has been released, Android Authority recently obtained several images of it.
According to the images, the laptop will be called the Realme Notebook and will bear the “Realme” branding on the lid. The screen has thin bezels, a 3:2 aspect ratio, and a Realme logo at the bottom. The images also show the laptop’s slim design and what appears to be an aluminium chassis. It also appears to be running Windows 10, which is not surprising.
There are currently no details about the Realme tablet, but it will most likely run on Android and may be released under the company’s Dizo sub-brand.
