In a penalty shoot to knock France out of the European Championship, Swiss goalkeeper Yann Sommer saved a kicking off the penalty by Cylian Mbappe. Following a 3-3 draw, Switzerland defeated France 5-4 in penalty Shoot-out, Seferovic scored the equalising goal for Switzerland.
After Paul Pogba scored a screamer in the 75th minute to further increase France’s lead, Haris Seferovic scored to bring back one for Switzerland. After Switzerland’s Ricardo Rodríguez missed a penalty, Karim Benzema scored twice to give France the lead in the second half.
Earlier, in the 16th round of the European Championship, France and Switzerland went to a penalty shooting after extra time. In the 90th minute of Bucharest, Mario Gavranovic scored the Swiss equaliser.
