Being a teenager is not easy but as some says “Happiness is a long hot bubble bath”, it is somewhat true. Few moments that we share to ourselves in the bathroom make this tough teen life quite interesting.
Why these moments mean so much to us? We all know that we really do a lot of stuff there that we never accept. Like:
1. Hidden Talents
It’s the only place where we can show how talented we are. Either it’s having our own ‘personal’ concert (where we play the role of both artist and audience) or being the actor/actress of our own dream movie. It’s the place where we achieve all our goals without working hard (in our minds). It’s no joke seriously.
2. Playing With Water
We all have done this and yes you have to admit it. We either end up making a small tornado in the bucket or trapping the air between the water bucket and the mug, making bubble sounds.
3. “What if” Situations
It’s something we do even while sitting in a classroom but bathroom vibes hit different. Thinking what if we slipped? What if someone break into our bathroom? And imagining the one romantic bathroom scene from a movie.
4. Thinking Deep About Life
This is the only place where we start doubting ourselves and our life decisions. Thinking that we might be somewhere else if it wasn’t for this school or blaming literally anyone for the situation we are in right now.
5. Remembering That One Argument
Ughh!! We just hate this feeling when we suddenly remember the best comeback line for an argument but that argument literally happened like 2 years ago. And we can’t do anything except imagining that same argument again in our minds and then thinking what would have happened if we come back at them with the most savage dialogue.
Anyways, whatever we do in our bathroom sometimes it’s good if that thing stays there only. We share literally every emotion we have with the walls either it’s the feeling of happiness or sadness or excitement.
Whether we share our tears with the shower or a smile with the tap, we all know that we might not be able to share those emotions with someone else. And sometimes it’s good to wash away the emotions with the shower like we wash our bodies with water.
