The world is just running high on unsaid pressure and notorious imbalances in personal lives. No wonder how each of us is looking for a little peace in this unending race. And habits here can help us. It takes 21 days to form a habit! That’s just less than a month!
How about instilling some lifestyle habits that will mould something good in your life? It is not a bad idea after all the things you tried to get everything back on track.
So here are some habits we can all fit into our lifestyles so that we breathe peacefully:
1. Watch where your Fear is originating Imaginary Problems
‘For all the liars in the world, fear is the biggest one.‘ – Rudyard Kipling.
Fear just causes us to think and believe the worst outcome possible. You would say it is easier said than done, true, but there is one most simple or maybe stupid and the most vital truth is that you can’t control the future. It is just too vague to think of. Try cutting your fear down because 20% fear is atleast better than 100% of it. And calm down. Our minds just talk. They are too feeble to act.
2. Prioritize your Things
Be it a lot of work you have to begin with or options in life that you have to take, find a priority in everything. It makes organising your life a bit easier and helps you to know where to put your efforts first.
3. Say HELLO to New Music
Snatch two minutes of your day and, along with doing your work, listen to a new song that you have never heard of. It will increase your attention and help you to stop for a second and delve into that music
4. Work for Passion
This is what an athlete taught me. Working to win will lead to a dead-end path. Striving to bring out the best of your passion will engage you to get deeper and deeper into that work and hence you will excel with happiness! And even if you fail, you will appreciate your efforts and that is what that never happens when you work for just success.
5. Understand them
We all have quiet stories and just because we don’t say it, doesn’t mean we don’t mean it. Understand why someone is the way he/she is and accept it. But here always make sure that even the other one understands you, that you too are heard. Also, just ponder once upon one thing that always trying to make anything work will actually make it worse.
Hence, voila!! These are 5 small steps you can take to make your life a little sweeter and a little less chaotic. It is quite difficult for us to draw back from our screens as most of our work is done on them, but we can atleast do some eye exercises to relax.
