Battlegrounds Mobile India, PUBG Mobile’s new avatar in India, is now available as an open beta version for users who signed up to be testers.
Battlegrounds Mobile India is finally available for Android users to download, but don’t get too excited because this is just a beta version that is only available to those who signed up for it.
The open beta version is available on Google Play for Android users who have registered their interest, as previously stated. It’s unclear how Krafton chose which users to be beta testers at this time.
On Twitter, some people have shared screenshots of the download in progress. According to the screenshot, Battlegrounds Mobile India is approximately 720MB in size.
Don’t be discouraged if you don’t see a download button for the game, as Krafton notes on its page that this is part of the app’s testing programme. This means that when the game is ready for a wider release, it will be available to everyone.
The app listing also confirms the game's minimum system requirements, which are Android 5.1.1 or higher and at least 2GB of RAM.
Battlegrounds Mobile India, like PUBG Mobile, will allow users to join a team and compete in a battle royale game in which multiple players fight to the death, with the last man or team standing winning the battleground. According to the Google Play listing, the game will include multiple modes such as battle royale, free fire fights, and one-on-one TDM matches.
According to a Facebook post by Battlegrounds Mobile India, the open beta version will have more slots for interested users. The post also reveals that purchases of weapons and other items, as well as in-game progress, will be saved and made available in the final version of the game when it is released.
